Police violence case, being handled with regard to both material and the procedural safeguards of article 3 ECHR – prohibition of torture, inhuman and degrading treatments or punishments. This case was granted priority under rule 41 of the Rules of Court

Switzerland (Application 43469/09, prima facie admissibility decided by the President of the Second Section of the European Court of Human Rights).Case involving home eviction with no judicial decision and no procedural safeguards. The Court handles the case with regard to article 8 section 1 ECHR – the right to respect for private and family life

    Case of Association Rhino and others v. Switzerland (Judgement of the Second Section the the European Court of Human Rights, 11 Octobre 2012, application 48848/07). Switzerland was condemned for violation of art. 11 ECHR – Freedom of association. The Judgement is available in French only but you may read the official summary here. Switzerland asked for the Judgement to be referred to the Grand Chamber – this request was rejected in March 2012
